Fix Broken Excel Formulas Without Learning Formulas
Upload your spreadsheet. CTS finds missing or inconsistent formulas, restores proven patterns from nearby rows, preserves formatting, and shows every change before anything is changed.
Upload your spreadsheet once. Clean That Sheet checks for repair formulas and other common cleanup problems, then shows you a free preview before anything is changed.

Tip: Excel (.xlsx) files keep formulas. CSV exports do not, so re-export from your tool as Excel if your file lost its formulas in CSV form.
You do not need to choose the perfect tool first. Upload your Excel or CSV file, review what CTS finds, and unlock only when you are ready.
CTS can also check for duplicate rows, blank rows, spacing issues, inconsistent formatting, messy headers, date cleanup, imported-data problems, and more.

Before and after
Two missing formulas restored from the surrounding pattern. Hard-coded row 4 is flagged, not changed.
Before
| A (qty) | B (price) | C (total) |
|---|---|---|
| 2 | 10 | =A2*B2 |
| 3 | 10 | (blank) |
| 1 | 10 | =A4*B4 |
| 5 | 10 | 50 |
| 4 | 10 | (blank) |
After
| A (qty) | B (price) | C (total) |
|---|---|---|
| 2 | 10 | =A2*B2 |
| 3 | 10 | =A3*B3 (restored) |
| 1 | 10 | =A4*B4 |
| 5 | 10 | 50 (flagged for review) |
| 4 | 10 | =A6*B6 (restored) |
Spreadsheets break in quiet ways. A formula goes missing in one row because someone pasted a value over it. A column of totals is mostly =SUM(B2:D2) but a few rows are blank, hard-coded, or were typed in by hand and silently drifted. The numbers still look fine, until they don't, and by then you're scrolling 4,000 rows trying to find which cells lost their formula. Formula Repair is built for exactly that situation.
Upload the file. We scan every cell, find columns that already use a clear, repeated formula pattern, and restore the pattern into blank cells inside that range while preserving relative cell references. If a row's formula breaks the surrounding pattern, or a cell is a hard-coded value sitting inside an otherwise-formula column, we flag it as Needs review and do not change it. CTS never invents a formula when no reliable nearby pattern exists.
You see every restored cell before downloading. Each entry shows the sheet, the cell address, what was there before, the exact formula we restored, and the confidence level. Cell formatting, number formats, column widths, and frozen panes are kept untouched. The preview is free. The repaired spreadsheet downloads for $1.99.
This is the cleanup step that turns a partially broken workbook back into a workbook you can trust. It's faster than auditing rows by hand, safer than running a macro that overwrites everything, and it won't touch cells where the right answer isn't obvious from the surrounding data.
